In addition, we will compile a comprehensive report, delivered online via HTML, or in PDF format, documenting all of the findings, and including images, references and further details. This report will be available for you both in a desktop-friendly format and a mobile format, so that you can stay in-the-loop and check your report even when you’re on the go.

Here is a quick overview of the services included in your home inspection, and the major systems that we analyze and assess throughout the process.

  • Roof

    The roof coverings is one of the most important and costly part of a home. We’ll examine the structure, drainage systems, flashings, skylights, chimneys, and other roof penetrations.

  • Attic, Ventilation, Insulation

    We will examine the structure, ventilation, insulation, breather vents, and electrical hazards. We’ll also check for mold and moisture and any signs of rodent or insects.

  • Exterior

    This includes the exterior walkways and doors, siding, eaves and soffits, fascia, paint, and other such elements of the home’s exterior.

  • Basement, Foundation, Crawlspace, Structure

    We will examine the foundations, grading & drainage, basements, walkways, and floor wall and ceiling structures.

  • HVAC

    We will examine/run heating and cooling equipment, ducts, vents and flues.

  • Plumbing

    We will check fixtures and facets, water supply systems, drain, waste and vent systems, water heater, vents, flues and chimneys, and any sump pumps or fuel storage and distribution systems.

  • Electrical Systems

    We will check service entrance and panels, branch circuits, connected devices and fixtures, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and making sure your outlets are GFCI-protected.

  • Doors, Windows & Interior

    We will check doors and windows for proper sealing and drafts, signs of mold or water damage, and more. We will also check the condition of all interior spaces.

  • Appliances

    Dishwasher, garbage disposal, range hood, range or over, cooktop, microwave, trash compactor, bathroom exhaust fans, garage door operator, and other built-in appliances.
